TAMPA MAINTAINS GRIP ON TOP SPOT

LEXINGTON, Ky. – The University of Tampa volleyball team remains the nation’s top team in the latest CSTV/AVCA Division II Coaches Top 25 Poll. The Spartans received 28 of the 36 first-place votes to edge Cal State San Bernardino (4) and Minnesota-Duluth (4) as UT has now been the top-ranked team for four consecutive weeks.

UT has now been represented in the national top-25 for 155 straight weeks. This marks the nation’s second longest current streak as Central Missouri State holds the current honors. The defending national champions have also been ranked as the nation’s top team for a total of 16 weeks in program history, including five in the 2007 season.
