UT Falls to #16 Florida Southern at SSC Championships

LAKELAND, Fla. - The University of Tampa tennis team lost to #16 Florida Southern College by a score of 5-0 at the 2008 Sunshine State Conference tournament. The Spartans are now 9-15 as the Mocs improve to 15-6.

Florida Southern took all three doubles matches, followed by the number one and two singles events.

The Spartans will play their final match of the season on Saturday against Florida Tech in the seventh place match. The match is slated to begin at 4:30 p.m.
