Bio
Deeanna Slywka joins the staff as the Athletic Marketing Assistant, joining the University of Tampa in the summer of 2025.
She earned her bachelor’s degree in advertising and public relations from the University of Central Florida. During her time at UCF, she gained valuable experience as a Brand Marketing Experience intern with UCF Athletics, where she collaborated with staff to manage in-game promotions, fan engagement activities, and digital content ideas across multiple sports.
Deeanna also brings strong leadership experience from her involvement in Greek life, where she served as Vice President of Recruitment Guides and held roles in public relations, philanthropy, and new member development. In addition, her professional background includes several years in customer service, where she honed her skills in communication, teamwork, and relationship-building.
