Spartans Sweep Eckerd and Win Duel Against Missouri State
TAMPA, Fla. – The University of Tampa beach volleyball team delivered a dominant performance on Saturday, sweeping Eckerd 5-0 before edging Missouri State 3-2 at the Tampa Beach Volleyball Complex.

Tampa set the tone early at the No. 1 position as Nevaeh Wolfe and Hailey Wolfe controlled the match in straight sets, 21-11, 21-19.
At No. 2, Tess Schrenger and Angel Williams battled through a three-set contest, rallying for a 17-21, 21-13, 15-8 victory to extend the lead.
The Spartans continued their momentum at No. 3, where Ka Fredette-Huffman and Hailey Peterson dropped the opening set before responding with back-to-back wins to secure the point.
Anna Bayes and Lauren Duke delivered another strong performance at No. 4 with a decisive straight-set win, while Sammie Ostrander and Logan Martin capped the sweep at No. 5 with a gritty three-set victory.

The Bears answered again at No. 5 to tie the match, setting up a decisive point at No. 4. Bayes and Duke delivered under pressure, earning a straight-set 21-19, 21-19 win to clinch the dual for the Spartans.
