Tampa Advances to Gold Division, Will Play for Spot in Championship Game
GULF SHORES, Ala. – The University of Tampa beach volleyball team continued its strong showing on Saturday, sweeping both Spring Hill and Florida Southern by identical 3–0 scores at Gulf Shores Public Beach.

How It Happened – Match 1 (Tampa 3, Spring Hill 0)
The Spartans opened the afternoon with a decisive win over Spring Hill, claiming three flights to secure the dual.
At the top flight, Nevaeh Wolfe and Hailey Wolfe battled through a three-set match, dropping the first set before rallying for a 12-21, 21-11, 15-12 victory to give Tampa an early edge.
Tampa extended its lead at No. 2, where Tess Schrenger and Angel Williams dominated in straight sets, 21-9, 21-13.
The clinching point came at No. 5, as Sammie Ostrander and Jordan Berglin controlled the match from start to finish, earning a 21-8, 21-11 win to secure the sweep.
Flights at No. 3 and No. 4 went unfinished after Tampa clinched the match.
How It Happened – Match 2 (Tampa 3, Florida Southern 0)
Tampa carried its momentum into the evening dual, once again sweeping three completed flights.
At No. 1, Nevaeh Wolfe and Hailey Wolfe delivered another strong performance, defeating Florida Southern in straight sets, 21-15, 21-0.
The Spartans added a second point at No. 3, where Hailey Peterson and Logan Martin earned a hard-fought 21-19, 21-19 victory.
At No. 5, Sammie Ostrander and Jordan Berglin sealed the match with a dominant 21-9, 21-9 performance to clinch the 3–0 win.
Flights at No. 2 and No. 4 were not played after Tampa secured the dual victory.
