Mike Schwartz Earns Daktronics All-Region Honors

LAKELAND, Fla. - University of Tampa designated hitter Mike Schwartz has been named to the Daktronics all-South Region second team, as announced Wednesday. The Daktronics all-region teams are voted on by regional Sports Information Directors.

Schwartz, a junior from Montville, N.J., is UT's leader with 12 home runs and 53 RBIs. While hitting .362 in his first year as a Spartan, the Hillsborough Community College transfer also has 64 hits and 12 doubles while scoring 48 runs.
