Bio

As a Senior: NCAA Division II Championship Series All-Tournament Team MVP…Started 52 games for the Spartans at first and third base. Concluded the season with a .300 batting average… Racking up 54 this, scored 45 runs and brought in 51 runs... He hit 16 doubles, one triple and 10 homeruns... Stole one base and drew 23 walks... In the field he had 88 putouts and 86 assists...  For twelve games he had multiple hits per game... Hit two doubles against Rollins (3/22)… Brought in seven runs against Pace (2/22)... Had three hits against Barry (3/28)...  Scored three runs against Hillsdale (2/21) and Eckerd (4/20)... Knocked two over the fence against Pace (2/22)… Started in all NCAA Tournament Contests... Had 12 hits, scored seven runs and brought in nine during post season play. 

As a Junior: Started in all 38 games in which he played…Was second on the team in home runs (8) and third in slugging percentage (.543)…Made Spartan debut with an RBI against Bentley (2/03)…Showed his power against Georgia College (2/10) by clubbing two doubles and a three-run home run, driving in a season-best four runs…That game sparked an eight game hitting-streak (2/10-2/25), going on an impressive stretch of hitting 13-for-31 (.419) while belting three home runs, three doubles, 12 RBI, and also scoring 10 runs…Had three RBI against conference foe Lynn…Hit a home run against Grand Canyon (3/09) and followed up the next day with two doubles against the same opponent (3/10)…Hit a solo-shot against East Stroudsburg (3/13)…Had an RBI in each game of a double header against Florida Tech (3/17)…Notched a multi-hit game against Franklin Pierce (3/20), going 2-for-4 with an RBI…Went on an 11-game hitting streak (3/24-4/14), hitting 16-for-41 (.390) which included two home runs, five doubles, ten RBI and 12 runs scored…Started that streak during a doubleheader against Saint Leo (3/24), going 3-for-8 with three runs scored and a solo home run…Also hit a solo home run against SSC rival Rollins (3/30) in a 2-for-3 performance at the plate which included an RBI single and two walks…Followed up with a 3-for-5 contest the next night against Rollins, with three RBI and a run scored in the first game of a double header…In a three-game series against conference opponent Barry (4/06-4/07), he tallied a .400 average with a double, three RBI, two walks and five runs scored…Had a double in back-to-back games against Florida Southern (4/13, 4/14)…Hit a solo home run against Palm Beach Atlantic (4/20)…Finished the season with a .293 batting average.

As a Sophomore (SJRSC): Attended St. John’s River State College…Hit .287 while playing in 38 games for Vikings…Slugged 11 home runs with 39 RBI…Also hit 11 doubles and a triple…Posted .395 on-base percentage…Also registered .984 fielding percentage with 293 putouts and 15 assists…Selected second-team all-conference.

As a Freshman (SJRSC): Hit .355 in first season with St. John’s River State College…Hit 20 home runs with 61 RBI…Also had 12 doubles while leading team with 70 hits…Set single season home run record for SJRSC…Named first-team all-conference…Player of the Week.

Summer League: Played for the North Shore Navigators of the New England Collegiate Baseball League (NEBCL) in the summer of 2011…Named to the NEBCL Select Team while leading league in home runs…Also named Player of the Week.

High School: Graduate of Pasco High School where he played for coach Ricky Giles…Concluded senior season with a .554 batting average to go with 13 home runs and 46 RBI…Named two-time Tampa Bay Times North Suncoast Player of the Year.
