Bio

As a Senior: Appeared in six games on the hill… Concluded the season with a 5.87 ERA over 7.2 innings... Struck out six batters... Fanned  four batters against Hillsdale (2/21). Got all three outs in one innings by Punched out three batters against Franklin Pierce (3/20). 

As a Junior: Made 11 appearances in relief, working a total of 17.2 innings…Did not allow a run in first five appearances (2/04-3/10), a total of 8.0 innings, while only allowing three hits and walking none…Made Spartan debut against Bentley with 2.0 solid innings out of the bullpen, not allowing a runner to reach base…Earned a save, his first as a Spartan, against Georgia College (2/10), closing out the game with a hitless effort in an inning of work…Also did not allow a run in four straight appearances (3/31-4/17), a total of 6.0 innings, with only four hits allowed and no free passes…Over that period he shut down SSC rivals Rollins (3/31), Barry (4/06) and Florida Southern (4/13)… Pitched a season-high 3.0 innings and struck out two batters against Nova Southeastern (5/05) …Ended the season with a 1.53 ERA and nine strikeouts.

As a Sophomore (UConn): Attended the University of Connecticut where he pitched 6.2 innings in seven appearances...Posted an ERA of 9.45 and allowed seven earned runs...Struck out six batters and walked none...Struck out a season-high three at Rutgers (4/29)…Played on team that captured regional championship at Clemson Regional and advanced to 2011 Super Regional where UConn was defeated be eventual national champion South Carolina.

As a Freshman (UConn): Appeared in nine games and pitched in 13.1 innings...Recorded a record of 2-0 and an ERA of 4.05...Struck out eight and walked two...Gave up 17 hits and let in six earned runs...Recorded wins vs. Boston College (3/16) and Massachusetts (4/6).

Summer League: Played for Team CT Baseball 18U team that won a national championship in Nashville, Tenn…Also played summer ball for North Shore Navigators and Danbury Westefers in the NECBL…Was also an ACBL all-star while playing for Riverhead Tomcats...Posted a 1.71 ERA in 10 appearances...Recorded three saves and struck out 17 batters.

High School: Three-year varsity letterwinner at Greenwich High School...2007 all-Fairfield County selection...Led Team Connecticut to the 2008 National Championship in Tennessee... Guided his Team Connecticut club to the BCS Northeast title in 2008 in Long Island.
