Freshman Jake Mielock Earns SSC Pitcher of the Week Honors

Mielock, a freshman from Safety Florida, Fla., came in as relief during game two against Bentley with the game tied 2-2. The true freshman pitched four-innings of scoreless baseball, allowing just one hit and striking out six batters to lead the No. 1 Spartans to a 5-2 win.
