Nick Tindall Collects SSC Offensive Player of the Week Honors
WINTER PARK, Fla. - Tampa's Nick Tindall has been selected Sunshine State Conference Baseball Player of the Week presented by VALIC.
Tindall, a junior catcher from O'Fallon, Ill., led the No. 1 Spartans to a three-game series sweep of conference foe No. 19 Nova Southeastern. Tindall finished the week hitting .500 (4-of-8) and slugging an impressive 1.375 with two doubles, a triple and a home run. In game two, the junior went 1-for-1 with a two-RBI triple. In game three, Tindall went 3-for-4 with two doubles and a home run. He also scored twice and recorded 3 RBIs in the finale. Tindall finished the week with four extra base hits, five RBIs and three runs scored.
