E.J. Doskow serves as the Assistant Coach for the University of Tampa’s Junior Varsity Baseball Program, where he leads the developmental team for the storied Spartans program, winners of 10 NCAA Division II National Championships. A former standout collegiate hitter and a rapidly rising coach, Doskow brings a data-driven, communication-focused approach to player development that has already produced measurable results.

Within his first month overseeing the JV hitters, two players were elevated to the varsity roster, underscoring his ability to identify, refine, and accelerate talent. The 2026 season also included a school-record 15 runs in a season road opener for Doskow's explosive offense. Additionally, Doskow helped the Spartans to their first-ever win over HCC on the road, a 9-5 March 3, 2026 win where Tampa also set the program record with three home runs in a game.

Doskow’s coaching philosophy is rooted in modern player development principles, blending biomechanics, statistical analysis, and individualized instruction. His résumé highlights his proficiency with advanced technologies, noting that he “utilizes Rapsodo and YakkerTech technology to analyze swing metrics, ball flight data, and player development trends.” This analytical foundation allows him to build precise, actionable hitting plans tailored to each athlete’s strengths and developmental needs.

In addition to his hitting expertise, Doskow works extensively with corner infielders and corner outfielders, focusing on mechanical consistency, defensive efficiency, and game-ready execution. His résumé emphasizes that he “works directly with hitters, corner infielders, and corner outfielders, focusing on mechanical development and game-ready execution,” a skillset that translates seamlessly into his leadership of the JV program.

Beyond the field, Doskow contributes to the University of Tampa’s athletic ecosystem through his role as an Athletic Communications Assistant, where he creates digital content, manages social media, and supports game-day operations. His background in media and communication, supported by an M.S. in Professional Communications, enhances his ability to connect with athletes, articulate complex concepts clearly, and foster a positive developmental environment.

A decorated former player, Doskow competed at Stetson University, Palm Beach State College, Valdosta State University, and the University of Tampa. His playing career includes honors such as Gulf South Conference Player of the Year, ABCA/Rawlings NCAA Division II All-Region First Team, and First Team All-Gulf South Conference, giving him firsthand insight into the competitive demands of high-level collegiate baseball.

Fluent in both English and Spanish, Doskow excels in communication, mentorship, and relationship-building, bringing strong communications, active listening, and leadership and mentorship. His combination of technical expertise, player-first coaching, and championship-level experience positions him as a key contributor to the continued success and development pipeline of University of Tampa Baseball.
