Tampa’s Chris King Earns Weekly Honor

ORLANDO, Fla. - University of Tampa men's basketball player Chris King has been named the Sunshine State Conference Player of the Week for the week ending Sunday, February 11. King becomes the second Spartan to earn the award this season, joining Chris Evans, who received the recognition on November 20.

The Orlando native led the Spartans to a 67-60 win at Rollins. King tallied 20 points, six rebounds, two assists, and two steals in the victory. He shot 7-of-15 (47%) from the field and 4-of-9 (44%) beyond the arc in the return to his hometown.
