Steven Young Named First Team Sports Scholar
TAMPA, Fla. - University of Tampa men's basketball player Steven Young was named to the first-team Arthur Ashe Sports Scholar team for men's basketball, which was featured in the most recent issue of Diverse Magazine.
Young, a sophomore from Winter Haven, Fla., was one of nine first-team selections that consisted of all NCAA divisions. The Management Information Systems major has excelled in the classroom, registering a cumulative GPA of 3.71 at UT.
