Vincent Biffle caught fire midway through the second half, scoring 10 straight points to put Tampa ahead 39-35 with 11 minutes to play. Both teams would trade baskets over the next five minutes of play, resulting in two ties and four lead changes before Biffle sank a triple to put Tampa ahead 50-47.
