Taylor Noel Represents Tampa at NCAA Golf Championships

HOWEY IN THE HILLS, Fla. - University of Tampa men's golfer Taylor Noel completed play at the 2013 NCAA South/Southeast Regional, which was played at the Mission Inn Golf and Tennis Resort.

Noel was among the 108 competitors at the three-round event, which featured a total of 20 teams from both the NCAA South and Southeast Regions. Noel was included among the eight individual invites.

The Spartan senior began play with an opening round score of 81, then followed up with am 80 in each of the ensuing rounds. He finished with a 241 to place 98th overall.

Nova Southeastern won the regional with a team score of 855 as Sunshine State Conference schools occupied four of the top five spots. Nova's Ben Taylor took the individual crown with a three-round score of 210.
