MIAMI BEACH, Fla. – The University of Tampa men's golf team met a field of several nationally-ranked opponents in its final regular-season contest as the Spartans were 15th at The Battle at the Shores.

  • Kosarich finished as the top UT golfer for the first time this season.
  • A first-round 71 by Montagnino went down as the top round for the Spartans.
  • Kosarich, Celestino and Montagnino each shot under 80 in all three rounds.
  • Head coach Rick Christie did not register any individuals.
  • A total of 18 teams competed.
  • A pair of Florida Southern teammates, John Coultas and John VanDerLaan, tied for first with a 205 (-8).
  • Joining Tampa, team champion Florida Southern and host Barry from the Sunshine State Conference were Lynn (2), Nova Southeastern (3), Barry (4), Florida Tech (6), Embry-Riddle (11), Palm Beach Atlantic (13) and Eckerd (18).
