DENVER, Colo. – The University of Tampa men's golf team traveled to Denver for the Bob Writz Invitational, finishing fifth overall in the two-round event.

  • Senior Barnes led the way for the Spartans with a top-20 finish.
  • An opening round 72 from Montagnino was the top round for a Spartan.
  • UT did not enter any individuals.
  • The individual champion was Colorado's Victor Bjorlow with a 143 (-1).
  • The Spartans were the lone team from the Sunshine State Conference in the field.
