Well-Rounded Spartans in Top Half of Competitive Saint Leo Invite
DADE CITY, Fla. – The University of Tampa men's golf team was seventh overall at the Saint Leo Invitational.

OTHER NOTABLES:
- Syed paced the Spartans for the first time of the spring season after being the top UT scorer in three fall tournaments.
- An opening round 69 from Syed was the top round for the Spartans.
- Holmes competed in the lineup for the second time this year, finishing second among all Spartans.
- Joonas Turba was entered as an individual for UT head coach Gary Hilton.
- A total of 17 teams competed.
- Tournament champion Lee also had the individual medalist, Beck Burnette, who carded a 206 to come in at -10.
- Joining the Spartans and host Saint Leo (6) from the Sunshine State Conference were Nova Southeastern (2), Lynn (4), Embry-Riddle (8), Florida Tech (11) and Palm Beach Atlantic (14).
