UT Men’s Lacrosse Among Top Teams in Annual Fundraiser
HOLMES, Pa. - Head coach Rory Whipple and the University of Tampa men's lacrosse team continued to give back to the community as they participated in "Mustache Madness," finishing fourth among the top fundraising teams.
Thanks to the relentless efforts in 2012, HEADstrong was able to shatter its previous fundraising record of $95,000. With the help of schools like UT, the organization raised over $101,300 for the HEADstrong Foundation.
The HEADstrong Foundation's mission is to carry on the legacy and vision of HEADstrong founder Nicholas Colleluori through advocating, fundraising and supporting those affected by blood cancer and those working towards eliminating it.
