Spartans ranked No. 13 in First Men’s Lacrosse Poll
TAMPA, Fla - The University of Tampa men's lacrosse team is ranked No. 13 in the first USILA poll, which was release earlier today. This is the first time in program history, now in its third season of competition, that the Spartans are ranked.
The Spartans are 1-0 after defeating Queens 15-11 in the season opener last weekend.
The Spartans will defend their ranking Friday, February 14, in their home opener when they host no. 6 New York Tech at 7:30 p.m. at Namoli Family Athletic and Intramural Complex. Live stats and a video webcast will be available through TampaSpartans.tv.
New York Tech is the first of three ranked opponents that the Spartans will face this season. They will travel to Gaffney, S.C. to face No. 5 Limestone and then travel to Erie, PA to face No. 2 Mercyhurst on April 5.
