Whipple Wins SSC Offensive Player of the week

MELBOURNE, Fla. - Conor Whipple (So., Tampa, Fla.) of the University of Tampa is the SSC Men's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week.

Whipple and Carlock were selected SSC Athletes of the Week from a pool of nominees for their performances during the week of February 2 - 8.

Whipple helped the No. 4 Spartans start the 2015 campaign off with two wins, including a Top-10 road win over Queens University (N.C.). The sophomore contributed three goals and two assists per game this past week. His six goals came off 14 shots and eight shots on goal. Whipple was also able to limit his turnovers to two through the teams two games.

Whipple and the Spartans will welcome in defending National Champions and top ranked Limestone College on Saturday. The game is scheduled to start at 1:00 p.m.
