Lindsey, Theriault Selected as Players of the Week by SSC
TAMPA, Fla. - Tampa standouts Davis Lindsey and Connor Theriault selected as SSC Players of the Week.
Lindsey scored the game-winning goal in Tampa's 11-10 overtime victory at Florida Southern. The Huntersville, North Carolina native scored the crucial goal unassisted with 2:49 on the clock in OT. Lindsey finished the game with three points off two goals and an assist. He also picked up two ground balls in the match. Lindsey scored his two goals off five shots, all on goal. The weekly award is his fourth this season.
Theriault kept Tampa's undefeated season intact with 11 saves in an 11-10 overtime win at Florida Southern. The Mount Hermon, Massachusetts, native faced 34 total shots and allowed 10 goals while recording a .524 save percentage during his 61+ minutes in goal. Theriault also picked up four ground balls for the Spartans in the win. The weekly award is his sixth this season.
