Series History: Tampa owns a perfect 6–0 all-time record against Embry-Riddle, dating back to their first meeting in 2018. The two teams last met less than two weeks ago, when the Spartans dominated on Senior Night with a 13–4 victory. In six matchups, Tampa has outscored the Eagles by a combined 114–43 and has won by double digits in all but one contest.
About the Spartans: Tampa capped off its undefeated regular season with a thrilling overtime win at Florida Southern. Davis Lindsey scored twice, including the game-winner, and added an assist to secure his fourth Sunshine State Conference Offensive Player of the Week honor. In goal, Connor Theriault turned away 11 shots to earn his sixth Defensive Player of the Week award. Theriault's .524 save percentage and consistent play have anchored the nation's top-ranked squad. Tampa also boasts the SSC's top three goal scorers: Ryan Kemp (38), Jackson Bashaw (37), and Lindsey (30), making the Spartan offense the most prolific in the conference.
About the Eagles: Embry-Riddle earned its first-ever SSC semifinal berth with a 14–9 quarterfinal win over Saint Leo. The Eagles used a dominant second and third quarter to pull away and secure the historic victory. Though assist leader Tim Keefe tallied just one, he also notched a hat trick and remains one of only three SSC players to reach both 20 goals and 20 assists this season—alongside Tampa's Lindsey. Offensively, Trey Dring ranks fourth in the conference with 29 goals, while Christian Hofer sits at tenth with 24.
