Tampa Men's Lacrosse Earns First Round Bye in NCAA Tournament After Being Selected as No. 1 Seed
INDIANAPOLIS - The NCAA tournament begins with the opening round on Wednesday, May 6 and continues through the championship on Sunday, May 24 at Scott Stadium in Charlottesville, VA.
The DII men's lacrosse championship is an 18-team, single elimination tournament. Champions of qualifying conferences will receive automatic qualification for the NCAA Division II Men's Lacrosse Championship, and the four lowest-ranked AQ teams will compete in the opening round for the final two spots in the championship bracket.
The University of Tampa men's lacrosse team earned the No. 1 seed for the 2026 NCAA Championships. The Spartans will host the winner of No. 8 CUI and No. 9 Flagler on Sunday, May 10 at 1:00 p.m. Tampa has home field advantage up until the NCAA Championship game which will be played in Charlottesville, VA.
