TAMPA, Fla. - The University of Tampa men's soccer team was blanked by Nova Southeastern University in a loss on Saturday at Pepin Stadium.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
1st Half |The first half of the match was dominated by defense. The Sharks of Nova Southeastern recorded five shots, two of those being shots on goal. Tampa could not find an opportunity for a goal and did not record a single shot on goal. Jake Richards followed his 13 save performance from Wednesday with two saves in the first half. The score entering the second half was 0-0.
2nd Half |The second half started with more action, with both teams getting good looks for a goal. But it was the Sharks that got on the board first with a goal from Matty Cornish assisted by Aleks Berg in the 60th minute. The Sharks struck again with an unassisted goal from Henrick Berg in the 69th minute.
Inside the Stats:
- Jake Richards finished with seven saves.
- Amgad Salah and Tim Krafft led the team in shots with two each.
