Pair of Spartan Swimmers Named Capital One Academic All-America

YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. - The 2014 Capital One Academic All-America Division II Men's and Women's At-Large Teams were announced Wednesday, with University of Tampa swimmers Lisa Bero and Karl Burdis earning honors.

Bero and Burdis, both seniors, were each members of the third team.

These student-athletes were recognized as the national top student-athletes based on combined athletic and academic performance. The teams were selected by the College Sports Information Directors of the America (CoSIDA).
