Gamecock Invite Day One in the Books for Tampa Swimming
COLUMBIA, S.C. – Opening the 2025 Gamecock Invitational with the distance session on Tuesday, the University of Tampa men and women posted a strong first day highlighted by multiple top-10 finishes and two scoring relays. Against a field featuring Power Five programs and nationally ranked Division II contenders, the Spartans showcased depth and efficiency in the distance lanes.
After four events, the Tampa men sit third with 145 points, while the Tampa women hold fourth with 93 points, positioning both squads well for the full championship-format meet.
