Record-Setting Day One of NCAA Championships for Tampa Swimming
EVANSVILLE, Ind - The University of Tampa men's and women's swimming teams both turned in school records at day one of the 2026 NCAA Division II Swimming Championships at Deaconess Aquatic Center in Evansville, Ind.
Team Standings
- On the men's side, Tampa is first through one event.
- The Spartans are fourth overall in women's action.
Top Men's Performers
- Tampa won the 800 Free Relay with an NCAA record time of 6:16.64. The winning Spartans team included Barnabas Fluck, Josh Noll, Jacob Hamlin, and Nick Cavic.
Top Women's Performers
- Seeded fifth, the Spartans finished fourth with a school record time of 7:20.95. The Spartans team included McKenna Patrick, Lindsey Louder, Laura Hodgson, and Avery Frece.

- Day two will begin with the prelims at 10 a.m., followed by the 5:30 p.m., finals.
