Spartan Women Move Up A Spot in National Rankings
NEW ORLEANS, La. - The University of Tampa women's cross country team is now ranked seventh in the US Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) NCAA II Poll.
The Spartans, who were ranked eighth in last weeks release, have competed in three races in the 2008 season. UT won the Early Bird Classic and placed third at the Florida Invite. Tampa most recently came in second at the FSU Invitational.
Tampa will return to action on Saturday, October 11 at the Disney Invite. The event will take place at the Wide World of Sports in Kissimmee.
