Strong Showing Lands Heather Nicolosi SSC Hardware

ORLANDO, Fla. - University of Tampa women's cross country runner Heather Nicolosi has garnered Sunshine State Conference Female Cross Country Runner of the Week accolades for the period ending October 3.

Nicolosi, a senior from Seminole, Fla., placed third in a huge field of 387 runners at the Lehigh Invitational. Nicolosi posted a 6K time of 21:53 to pace the Spartans to a seventh place finish in the 41-team field. This marks the second time Nicolosi has won the weekly award in 2010.
