Spartans Ranked No. 11 in Latest NFCA Top 25 Poll
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Undefeated UT Tyler and Concordia Irvine hold down the top two spots in the Division II Top 25 Coaches Poll. The Patriots (14-0) were idle, while the Eagles elevated to No. 2 as they ran their unbeaten start to 18 games.
Valdosta State dipped a spot to No. 3, while No. 4 West Texas A&M and No. 5 Indianapolis moved up one position in the rankings. After splitting a mid-week non-conference twinbill at Georgia Southwestern, the Blazers (12-3) took the first two in Gulf South Conference action at Lee.
This week, Spartans move up to No. 11 after splitting their mid-week two-game series against the North Georgia Nighthawks and winning two of the three games in their weekend series at Florida Tech.
The 2022 NFCA Division II Top 25 Poll is voted on by 16 NCAA Division II head coaches with two representing each of the eight NCAA regions. Records reflect games played through Feb. 27.
