Mary Beth Feldman Named SSC Pitcher of the Week

MELBOURNE, Fla. - Mary Beth Feldman was announced as the Sunshine State Conference Pitcher of the Week after starring in a matchup of nationally-ranked teams and keeping the University of Tampa undefeated on the 2023 season.

Feldman wins Pitcher of the Week by tossing a complete-game shutout against No. 4 Auburn-Montgomery. The Lithia, Florida native threw 7.0 innings, allowing three hits and no runs as the Spartans secured a 2-0 win. Feldman struck out five batters and issued two walks in the contest. The weekly award is the third of her career.

Sunshine State Conference Athletes of the Week are chosen from a pool of nominees for their performances during the week of February 6 - 12, 2023. Athletic Communication Directors of member institutions nominate athletes.
