Spartans Tied Highest Ranking in Program History
Spartans Ranked #2 in NFCA Poll Back-to-Back Weeks
Louisville, KY – The University of Tampa Softball team has been ranked #2 in the latest NFCA Division II Top 25 Coaches Poll. This is the Spartan's second consecutive week they have been ranked in the No. 2 and seventh straight week inside the Top 5.
Tampa's highest-ever ranking in program history was the 2 seed in 2014 for only one week.
No. 1 North Georgia has a 38-game win streak. They haven't lost since their second game of the year and swept No. 5 Alabama Huntsville yesterday in a day-night doubleheader.
The Spartans look to compete for the highest ranking in program history and the #1 overall seed for the NCAA tournament that is a little over a month away as they take on Florida Tech this weekend.
