Hailee Sullivan Named SSC Player of the Week
ORLANDO, Fla. - Following a pair of career performances, University of Tampa women's basketball player Hailee Sullivan was honored as the Sunshine State Conference Player of the Week for the period ending Feb. 8.
Sullivan, a senior from Skokie, Ill., led the Spartans to a pair of conference wins, including a big victory over No. 18 Rollins. Sullivan displayed impressive shooting prowess in averaging 22.0 points per contest, shooting 71 percent (15-for-21) from the field and 72 percent (13-for-18) from three-point range. In a 63-59 overtime win at Nova Southeastern, she tallied 18 points and two rebounds. In the 71-48 victory Rollins, she notched 26 points, five assists, and a rebound. Her seven made three-pointers against the Tars set a new career high, topping her previous career mark of six trays in the win at NSU.
