UT Women's Golf Returns to National Rankings as Kiira Riihijarvi Among Nation's Best

Junior All-American is No. 2 in NCAA Division II

NOBLESVILLE, Ind. - Following a trio of successful performances to open the 2018-19 season, the University of Tampa women's golf team was recognized at No. 23 in the nation in the Golfstat NCAA Division II Relative Rankings.

Two-time All-American Kiira Riihijarvi was also tabbed No. 2 among individuals in the nation. The junior from Oulu, Finland has already captured two individual titles through three events this season.

Tampa is back in action on October 29-30 at the Jekyll Island Intercollegiate, which will be played at Jekyll Island Golf Club, Pine Lakes Course in Georgia.
