Tampa Has Three Players Tabbed USA Lacrosse Magazine Preseason All-Americans
SPARKS, Md. - On Tuesday, USA Lacrosse announced its Division II Women's Preseason All-Americans, highlighting 56 players from 25 universities across the nation. Tampa lacrosse standouts Isabella Avila and Peyton Howell are first team selections, and Savvy Barbosa is a second team selection.
Adelphi leads the nation with five All-American selections, two of which are on the first team — attacker Ashley Kolomechuk and defender Sonny Lionetti.
West Chester, Pace, UIndy, and Maryville each received four All-American nods, and two-time defending NCAA champion Tampa is one of four schools with three selections.
