Spartans Lightweight Four Places Second At Stetson Sprints

DELAND, Fla. - The University of Tampa crew team opened the spring season at the Stetson Sprints, where it finished second in the lightweight four race against top competition.

While finishing second to Stetson, UT defeated two boats from the University of Florida in the event. The Spartan lightweight four consisted of Theresa Osborne, Alicia Thompson, Caitlin Guthrie, Alyssa Rodrigues and coxswain Samantha Burns.

Tampa is back in action on Sat., Mar. 14 at the Augusta Invitational. The event will be held in Aiken, S.C.
