Tampa Rowers Conclude Participation at FIRA Championships

SARASOTA, Fla. - The University of Tampa rowing team competed at the annual Florida Intercollegiate Rowing Association Championships, which was held at Benderson Park on Friday and Saturday.

The Spartans JV Women's 4+ placed third behind Barry and Nova Southeastern. In the boat was Melissa Ciesielski, Mary Lee Gibson, Alice Rodgers, Meagan Hoffman and coxswain Teresa Hilbig.

Tampa returns to action on April 20-21 at the Southern Intercollegiate Rowing Association (SIRA) Championships in Oak Ridge, Tenn.
