TAMPA, Fla. – Undefeated in their last four matches, the University of Tampa women's soccer team will host the Eckerd College Tritons for a 7 p.m. conference match.
The Matchup: University of Tampa (4-6-1 Overall, 2-2-1 SSC) vs. Eckerd College (5-6-2 Overall, 1-2-2 SSC)
• Last season, Tampa defeated Eckerd on the road by a 3-1 final score with Ali Robinson scoring the opening goal.
• Both teams are averaging similar offensive statistics. The Spartans are averaging 10.2 shots per game while the Tritons are averaging 15.5 shots per game. UT has also recorded an assist on nine of their 11 goals while EC has seven assists on 13 goals.

Last Time Out: UT traveled to Boca Raton, Fla. to take on Lynn University in a midweek conference matchup. Tampa scored late in the game as Robinson was alone at the back post to head in a cross from Sarah Raymond in the 87th minute to tie the game and force extra time.
About the Spartans: The Spartans will be looking to extend their undefeated run to five games after drawing 1-1 away at Lynn University. On offense, the team is led by Nastasia Asgedom who has recorded three goals and three assists while Robinson and Gabby Scirica are tied for second with two goals each. In net, Caroline Frykgard has been the starter during the run and has recorded 31 saves.
About the Tritons: The Tritons are coming off a 0-0 2OT draw at Palm Beach Atlantic on Sunday despite being outshot 28-11 overall and 7-5 in shots on goal. On offense, the team is led by Olivia Ross-Johnson who has tallied five goals this season in 10 matches played. In net, Casey Winn has played almost every minute and tallied 50 saves while conceding 12 goals.
Series History: Tampa leads the all-time series with an 18-3-1 record against Eckerd. The Spartans won the last matchup last season 3-1 in St. Petersburg, Fla.
Tickets: Tickets for are $5 for adults, senior citizens, and coaches. Children under 12 will be admitted free. UT students, faculty, and staff will be admitted free with a valid student ID.
