HOW IT HAPPENED:
1st Half | The Bears got off to a fast start when Abbie Brown netted a goal in the fourth minute of the match. Tampa had multiple opportunities in the half as Alexa Sheridan sent a rocket to the upper right corner but was stone-walled by Lenoir-Rhyne's goalkeeper Loren Sterling. Emily Cady laced a shot on goal however it found the cross bar. Tampa earned three corner kicks in the first half.

2nd Half | Lacy Nasello was charged with a yellow card in the 52nd minute. Natastia Asgedom lined up for a free kick in the 62nd minute, and ripped a laser shot that was punched by the goalie then ticked off the cross bar. Elena Barr slotted the equalizer in the 76th minute, as she had a breakaway with the keeper and perfectly placed the ball in the lower right corner. Barr has scored in back-to-back matches for the Spartans.
