Heather Glenday Picks Up Second SSC Swimmer of the Week Award

ORLANDO, Fla. - For the second time this season, University of Tampa swimmer Heather Glenday has been presented as the Sunshine State Conference Female Swimmer of the Week. The selection is for the period ending January 23.

A freshman from Babylon, N.Y., Glenday picked up two individual wins to help the Spartans edge NJCC powerhouse Indian River 138-123. Glenday posted a winning time of 18:15.94 in the 1,650-yard freestyle. She also notched a mark of 5:16.15 to claim first place in the 500-yard freestyle. Glenday's times in each event were among the top ten performances in the SSC this season.
