Tampa Continues to Hold National Swimming Ranking
CLEVELAND - Both the University of Tampa men's and women's swimming teams appear in the national rankings in the Endless Pools/CollegeSwimming.com Division II top-25. The Spartan women are sixth and the men No. 11.
The women are two spots ahead of Sunshine State Conference rival Florida Southern as the University of California-San Diego is first. On the men's side, the Spartans and Mocs (1) are both listed as well.
The Spartan women opened the 2012-13 campaign with victories of Florida Southern and Lynn as the men dropped a close decision to FSC. Both teams also fell to Indian River State College.
The Spartans return to action on Saturday in an SSC meet at Saint Leo University. The event is slated for 11 a.m.
