CLEARWATER, Fla. - The University of Tampa men's and women's swimming teams opened competition at the fourth-annual Spartan Invite, which includes a total of six teams.

MEN'S TOP PERFORMERS:

WOMEN'S TOP PERFORMERS:

  • Jessie Tobin and Maureen Moore finished second and third respectively in the 1,000 Free with times of 10:15.93 and 10:17.49.
  • A third-place finish came from Cat Sterlacci in the 200 IM after being clocked at 2:04.67.
  • UT took the top-three spots in the 50 Free as Waddell and van Loock tied for first with an identical time of 23.40. O'Hara followed with a time of 23.59.

UP NEXT:
Day two of the Spartan Invite will begin with the prelims at 9:30 a.m. The finals are slated for 6 p.m. Fans may watch live at TampaSpartans.tv or follow live scoring through the Meet Mobile app.
