Swimming Returns From Break to Host Minnesota and Notre Dame
TAMPA, Fla. — Inside the Riseman Aquatics Center, the University of Tampa swimming teams battled against two powerhouse programs, the University of Minnesota and the University of Notre Dame, in a high-level tri-meet on Saturday afternoon. Despite facing nationally ranked opponents, the Spartans showcased resilience and depth throughout the competition.

Top Performers (Men)
- 200 Medley Relay: Tampa's A-team of Rufus Bernhardt, River Streefland, Tibor Tistan, and Riccardo Pandin placed 3rd in 1:28.48, narrowly behind Minnesota (1:28.51).
- 1,000 Freestyle: Jacob Hamlin dominated with a win in 9:07.64, followed by Elliot Weisel (9:24.26) and Julian Ithier (9:28.87) for key points.
- 200 Freestyle: Josh Noll led Tampa with a 7th-place finish in 1:41.04; Walker Lanoue added depth at 1:43.26.
- 100 Backstroke: William Beckstead-Holman clocked 49.18 for 7th, with Mathias Holmann (50.42) and Rufus Bernhardt (50.48) close behind.
- 100 Breaststroke: River Streefland paced Tampa at 55.92 for 3rd, supported by Jared Allison (56.24) and Kasparas Venslauskas (56.56).
- 200 Butterfly: Nick Cavic (1:47.32) and Aidan Clements (1:48.53) went 3-4, while Roberto Zarate (1:52.29) added depth.
- 50 Freestyle: Tibor Tistan (20.42) and Riccardo Pandin (20.48) finished 2-3 in a blazing sprint.
- 100 Freestyle: Pandin (45.11) and Cavic (45.27) placed 2-3, with Alfredo Dominguez at 45.98.
- 200 Backstroke: Josh Noll (1:50.36) and Beckstead-Holman (1:50.67) led Tampa's effort.
- 200 Breaststroke: Britton Spann earned 5th in 2:04.39, followed by Cody Ano (2:04.99) and Streefland (2:06.39).
- 500 Freestyle: Hamlin added a 3rd-place finish in 4:28.91, with Weisel (4:40.43) and Ithier (4:41.72) contributing.
- 100 Butterfly: Jared Allison posted 48.91 for 5th; Benny Castro (50.18) and Roberto Zarate (50.73) rounded out the group.
- 200 IM: Beckstead-Holman led Tampa at 1:50.00, with Cavic (1:50.50) and Holmann (1:52.59) close behind.
- 200 Freestyle Relay: Tampa's A-team of Tistan, Pandin, Noll, and Dominguez finished 3rd in 1:21.29.

- 200 Medley Relay: Tampa's A-team of Kim McCaffrey, Stephanie Vogt, Hannah-Claire Jowers, and Tilde Morin placed 2nd in 1:42.63.
- 1,000 Freestyle: Morgan Wimberly led Tampa with 10:25.11, followed by Laura Hodgson (10:34.28) and Katharina Hibbeln (10:40.45).
- 200 Freestyle: McKenna Patrick finished 3rd in 1:51.12, with Sofia Krstolic (1:52.35) and Avery Frece (1:53.64) close behind.

- 100 Freestyle: McKenna Patrick led Tampa at 51.95, with Frece (52.19) and Morin (52.54) close behind.
- 200 Backstroke: Louder (2:01.69) and Carlie Tyler (2:04.35) paced Tampa's effort.
- 200 Breaststroke: Foltz added another win in 2:14.64, with Katie Ramsey (2:22.10) and Marissa DeMarco (2:21.78) contributing.
- 500 Freestyle: Wimberly finished 5th in 5:07.72, supported by Lainey Blase and Hibbeln.
- 100 Butterfly: Krstolic (56.45) and Bokos (56.84) led Tampa's scoring.
- 200 IM: Foltz claimed 1st in 2:03.75, with Bokos (2:06.64) and Tyler (2:08.22) adding depth.
- 200 Freestyle Relay: Tampa's A-team of Morin, Madalee Roberts, Frece, and Laney Jones placed 3rd in 1:35.34.
