UT Concludes Regular Season with Loss to Flagler

TAMPA, Fla. - The University of Tampa dropped a 7-2 decision to visiting Flagler College to close out the 2008 regular season. The Spartans are now 9-13 as the Saints improve to 8-9.

The UT victories both came in singles play, as Estefania Greco won from the number-one position. She was joined by teammate Caitlin Scudder in the winning column as UT's all-time winningest singles player won at the four spot.

Tampa now looks to the Sunshine State Conference Tournament, where it will meet national number-three Lynn University in the opening round on Thursday. The event, which is being hosted by Eckerd College, will be played in Lakeland.
