#3 Lynn Defeats Tampa in Opening Round of SSC Tournament

TAMPA, Fla. - The University of Tampa tennis team fell to #3 Lynn University by a score of 5-0 in the first round of the 2008 Sunshine State Conference championships.

Lynn registered three victories in doubles, followed by wins from the number one and two singles spots.

The Spartans will now play on Friday at 11:30 a.m., against the loser of Thursday's match between Nova Southeastern and Florida Southern.
