Tough Stretch Continues at No. 5 Lynn Defeats Spartans
Saturday's match marked the fifth of six consecutive contests against a nationally-ranked opponent.
TAMPA, Fla. - The University of Tampa (6-8, 0-6 SSC) tennis team fell to its fourth straight national top-10 opponent as No. 5 Lynn University (15-3, 4-2 SSC) defeated the Spartans 9-0.
The match was played at the Naimoli & Young Family Tennis Complex at UT.
Tampa returns to action Tuesday in its first of three matches on the week. The Spartans host No. 34 Rollins on Tuesday at 3 pm. UT then travels to Eckerd on Thursday at 3 pm, and closes its season on Sunday versus No. 31 Embry-Riddle at 11 am.
