TAMPA, Fla. - The University of Tampa tennis team had no problem in its 2022 season opener, defeating visiting State College of Florida by a score of 7-0.

Series History: Tampa is now 4-1 in the all-time series, with the last two meetings resulting in a 7-0 Spartan victory.
How it Happened:
- The doubles point went to the Spartans, who took all three matches.
- UT took all six singles matches in straight sets.
- The Manatees took just 11 games in singles play, as the Spartans won 72 as a team.
