TAMPA, Fla. – The University of Tampa women's tennis team pushed No. 15 Lynn to the wire on Friday afternoon but came up just short in a 4–3 Sunshine State Conference loss at the Naimoli & Young Family Tennis Complex. The Spartans split singles play and earned one doubles win, but Lynn edged the deciding points to secure the tight victory.

How It Happened

Lynn grabbed the opening doubles point by winning two of the three courts. Tampa earned its doubles win at the third position as Nicole Casas and Mia Zorrilla posted a 6–3 victory, but Lynn claimed courts one and two to take a 1–0 lead.

In singles, the match remained back‑and‑forth throughout. Tampa picked up wins at Nos. 2, 4, and 6:
