CHARLOTTE, N.C. - The University of Tampa men's and women's track teams send runners to a pair of locations this weekend, racing at both Charlotte and the University of Central Florida

Black and Gold Invitational

  • Lindsey Marzo led the way for the Spartans in the 1,500 with a time of 5:08.88.
  • A top-10 finish was recorded by James Dooley in the men's 1,500 as he finished in 4:06.81.
  • In the men's 5K, Sam Schaeffer was the fastest Spartan at 16:40.81.
  • Julia Lockridge and Lexi Bible both finished in the top-10 on the women's 800 with respective times of 2:18.72 and 2:19.37.
  • The top Spartan in the men's 800 was Dalton Morley, who finished with a time of 1:54.76.

UP NEXT:
The Spartans will register runners at a pair of events next weekend, including the Bulls Invitational at South Florida on Friday and Saturday and the UNF Spring Break Invitational on Friday in Jacksonville.
